The farm » Animals » Animal adoption scheme

If you like our animals, you now have the chance to help us look after the native rare breeds which are kept on the farm.

You can adopt an animal for a donation of just £12.50 per year which entitles you to an adoption pack containing:

  • a certificate suitable for framing
  • a photo of your adopted animal

  • a bi-annual newsletter containing all the latest news from the farm and the museum

Adopting an animal also makes a perfect gift for birthdays, Christmas or any other special occasion. Simply fill in your details with the gift recipient's name and address on the application form and we will do the rest. Please tell us if the adoption pack should be sent to you or directly to the gift recipient.

Adopting by Standing Order

Gift Aid

You can increase your donation by allowing us to claim back the tax from your adoption through Gift Aid. This is a scheme set up by the government which allows registered charities to claim 28p for every £1 donated. This makes your donation go even further at no extra cost to you. For more information pick up a leaflet at reception. You must be a UK taxpayer in order to help us in this way.
