For Key Stage 1
With this age we focus on developing an understanding of life a very long time ago. If you wish to come for a full day visit, we recommend pairing “Anglo-Saxon life” with “Boy at the monastery”. This will give a good balance of the broad (life in the past) with the detailed (life as a monk).
With Key Stage 2
If your emphasis is mainly on the Anglo-Saxons, we would recommend a combination of “Anglo-Saxon Life” and “Boy at the monastery”.
If your topic has a more RE focus, we would recommend pairing “Boy at the monastery” with the “Scriptorium” session.
