This weekend was very busy here at Bede's World as we opened our doors for free as part of the Heritage Open Days. In addition to offering free admission to the musuem and farm, we also hosted our popular Food and Craft Fair, where we were joined by over 40 local food and craft producers.
Throughout the weekend exhibitors showcased a tempting array of locally produced goods and produce, ranging from mouthwatering cupcakes and sweet treats to succulent homemade pies and fresh chilli and garlic oils- all of which proved to be a hit with our visitors.
Out on our Farm, younger visitors also tried their hand at the art of willow weaving by creating their very own willow star to take home. They also made friends with many of our animals on the farm by feeding them.
Don't foget to join us on November 24 & 25 November for our fabulous Christmas Gift Fair, where you can find a unique gift for that friend or relative who is so hard to buy for.
