The Northumbrian Scribes is a group of calligraphers who meet monthly at Bede's World for talks and practical workshops on calligraphy. An annual exhibition of their work is held at Bede's World. For information about the Scribes, email visitor.info@bedesworld.co.uk or phone 0191 489 2106.

The Young Calligraphers

A chance for 8 - 16 year-olds to learn the art of calligraphy with experienced scribes. The Young Calligraphers' branch of the Northumbrian Scribes is a new club which will meet at Bede's World 3 times a year, once a term. NOTE: places are limited, and bookings are taken on a first come first served basis.
