Bede’s World offers an excellent service for schools. Within this section you can find information on the workshops that we offer. Each activity lasts for half a day so you can fit two activities in if you visit us for a full day.

We also have visits that are tailored towards specific age groups so please read the information within this section and decide upon the activities that are suitable for your class – or pick up the phone and speak to a member of our Education Team who will be able to offer advice and point you in the right direction. We are always happy to work with you if you have a particular focus for your visit, so please call us to discuss your needs.

There are also some free resources to download for your classroom looking at life on the Anglo-Saxon farm, with activity sheets to incorporate into your lessons.
