We have now renovated Jarrow Hall, the 18th century house at the centre of the Bede's World complex. If you have visited us in the past, you may remember the exhibition about the monastery. This has now been dismantled and incorporated into the new permanent exhibition in the new museum.
The Hall now houses our new café/restaurant with seating for more than 50 people. It is an attractive lunch-time venue, whether or not you are staying to explore the rest of the site.
The Oval Room has also been refurbished and is available for hire for meetings and functions of up to 20 people.
